Astrology for Pets
FEBRUARY 2007 HOROSCOPE

This month still finds us in Saturn retrograde and in the middle of February will also be in Mercury retrograde.  When Mercury goes into retrograde that’s when communication breaks down and misunderstandings occur.  So remember during this time it is important when communicating that the other person or pet really knows what you are trying to say.  This month will also be colder than what we have been experiencing and your pet will either want to go play in the snow or will be a consummate couch potato.

ARIES (The Ram) March 21 – April 19: Your Aries pet will continue to have confidence this month.  As the month goes on and with Mercury retrograde on the horizon your pet will take on a much more assertive personality.  The Aries is strong willed naturally but the Ram really comes through this month.  Keep your patience and keep the rules of the house in place.

TAURUS (The Bull) April 20 – May 21: Your Taurus is coming out of their shell this month.  They will be more energetic and will want lots of play time.  They will assume the alpha role.  They will be a bit more demanding this month, especially if they are not fed on time.

GEMINI (The Twins) May 22 – June 21: The Twins this month will be in a bit more negative mode.  As Mercury turns retrograde in middle of the month your pet’s personality will also change, but not for the better.  Your Gemini will not need a lot of attention but when they do demand it, you better be ready to give it. 

 CANCER (The Crab) June 22 – July 22: Your Cancer pet is extremely curious and will remain so.  Be careful that your pet does not wander as they may forget to come back and can get lost.  It is important to play with your pet as they can and will get bored easily.  Now is the time to get some interactive toys so you both can play and enjoy each other’s company.

 LEO (The Lion) July 23 – August 22:   Your Leo in the next 30 days will be very strong willed and will challenge you every step of the way.  They need to feel that they are in control, but you need to maintain the boundaries of household and make sure your pet adheres to the rules.  Remember to give your Leo responsibilities as they need to see their role as important.

 VIRGO (The Virgin) August 23 – September 22: Your Virgo remains focused during this month.  However, Mercury retrograde will affect their interpretation of what you are trying to communicate to them.  Make yourself very clear and repeat yourself several times for them to really comprehend what is being asked of them.  They do want to please you this month.

 LIBRA (The Scales) September 23 – October 22: Your Libra pet still wants to remain close to you.  They will have some anxiety when you are not in their line of vision.  They are worried that you are not focused and can be distracted and this can cause accidents. (Remember, Mercury is in retrograde)  So put your pet’s mind as ease and pay attention to what you are doing and assure your pet that you are safe.  Your safety keeps your pet happy.

 SCORPIO (The Scorpion) October 23 – November 21: Your Scorpio pet continues in his relaxed state.  With Mercury retrograde don’t confuse his calmness with laziness.  Enjoy the peace and quiet.  If you were thinking about introducing a new pet, this would be the right time as your pet is in a welcoming state of mind.

 SAGITTARIUS (The Archer) November 22 – December 21: Your Sagittarius pet is in the mood to eat in the upcoming month, so it will be hard to satisfy their appetite.  This is not the time to start your pet on a diet, however, do not give in to their whining.  You might want to try to get them out to exercise but they may not be a willing participate as the weather will be on the cold side.

 CAPRICORN (The Goat) December 22 – January 19:  Your Capricorn pet will continue to be active and restless.  It is best to give them lots and lots of exercise and they will try to engage you in numerous activities.  Go and have fun with your pet.  If you have a dog, bring them to a dog park where they can socialize and run around without getting into trouble.  It you have a cat interactive toys would definitely provide proper stimulation.

 AQUARIUS (The Water Bearer) January 20 – February 19: Your Aquarian pet continues to be fun loving and enjoying life.  They will do best in a peaceful and calm household and that will bring out their artistic realm.  If you ever thought your pet would make a good actor now is the time to explore their movie potential!

 PISCES (The Fish) February 20 – March 20: Your Pisces pet continues to be relaxed and having a good time which is surprising especially while Mercury is in retrograde.  Go with the flow and allow your pet to be all they can be, without you putting pressure on them.  If your pet feels any undue pressure they will retreat into their shell, so continue to let your pet enjoy their freedom.
