Virtual Jewelry Party Helps Kids and Birds

Lazicki’s Bird House and Rescue, Inc. of East Hartford, a non-profit organization, is teaming up with Mahila, Inc. of Manchester to help raise money for food and medical treatment for nearly 150 abandoned birds. Join us from the comfort of your own computer between April 27 and May 2 at a Virtual Jewelry Party, a new concept in fundraising for non-profit organizations.
Lazicki’s Bird House & Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of unwanted, abused or abandoned exotic birds. Because exotic birds can live 100 years, few pet owners are prepared to provide that level of care. When Diane and Steve Lazicki realized the plight of these birds, the rescue was born. Birds are also available for adoption to new, permanent homes.
Mahila, Inc. has been helping to fund cleft palate operations and providing education for children in Nepal for more than eight years. They have recently developed an innovated way to help their children, plus other non-profit organizations: an online shopping experience called the Virtual Jewelry Party, which is held online rather than in someone’s home.
Benefits
As a Virtual Jewelry Party customer you’ll be able to shop from the convenience of your own home via Mahila’s website. You’ll see many well-made, handcrafted silver pieces at very reasonable prices. And each time you wear one of these beautiful pieces you’ll know that you’re helping Mahila’s work and benefiting your own favorite non-profit organization as well.
Shop whenever it’s convenient, no need to take off your favorite bathrobe and fuzzy slippers to attend our Virtual Jewelry Party. As an added benefit, each person who makes a purchase will receive a 5% discount. Then, at the end of the Virtual Jewelry Party, 10% of total sales goes to the Rescue and another 10% goes to help perform cleft pallet operations for children in Nepal. Everyone benefits!
It’s Easy to Shop
It couldn’t be easier to shop. Just log on to: www.MahilaJewelry.com, select your items and place an order between April 27 and May 2. At checkout, enter the code for Lazicki’s Bird House & Rescue, Lazicki06. Your purchases will be mailed to you promptly. That’s all there is to it.
This opportunity is available to all non-profit organizations. If you’d like to set up a Virtual Jewelry Party for your group, please contact Jenipher Young-Hall at 860-643-5976 or Jen_MahilaJewelry@cox.net.
