Astrology for Pets
August 2006 HOROSCOPE

In the next 30 days we will see Mercury coming out of retrograde. So communication should improve. August finds most of our pets a little more alert with spurts of additional energy and everyone should be a bit jollier this month. Also, for those humans with green thumbs August 11th and August 19th are great days for planting.

ARIES (The Ram) March 21 - April 19: In the upcoming month your Aries pet will be eager to please and is on high energy alert. They will remind you that they are TOP pet. So lots of exercise this month so they can release this pent up energy; this will be good for all of you!

TAURUS (The Bull) April 20 - May 21: This is the time that your stubborn Taurus is "happy go lucky", so really enjoy the next 30 days. Your pet will take an interest and interact with visitors coming into the home. This is also the time that they will be interested in spending a substantial amount of time outside, so please try to indulge them if you can.

GEMINI (The Twins) May 22 - June 21: The next 30 days is the perfect time to train and teach your pet. They will be alert and very adaptable. The Gemini will be extremely playful this month. Pace yourself as they will wear you out.

CANCER (The Crab) June 22 - July 22: Your Cancer pet will be exceptionally compassionate and loving this month. This may be the time to introduce a new pet into the household. Take time to establish a routine or change an existing one as your Cancer pet is more accommodating over the next 30 days.

LEO (The Lion) July 23 - August 22: Your Leo will be very active in the upcoming month, as they will appear to have a spurt of energy. This is a good time for dogs to get agility training and for cats and other animals to get some interactive toys. The mind and body needs to be active. By all means this is the time to play, play, play!!

VIRGO (The Virgin) August 23 - September 22: This month finds the Virgo a bit insecure; a little confidence building is needed. Once you have raised your pet's self esteem you will notice a happier and perkier pet. This month the Virgo will want to spend more time with you, their caregiver.

LIBRA (The Scales) September 23 - October 22: The next 30 days finds your Libra pet calm and relaxed, maybe too relaxed. Their decision making may even be more difficult than usual. For example, "should I stay inside or go outside, what should I do?" They will drive you crazy this month with their indecisiveness.

SCORPIO (The Scorpion) October 23 - November 21: Your Scorpio may be a bit more emotional this month. It will be difficult to separate your pet from their favorite toy, object or person, as they will be more attached than usual. Scorpio will also be quite the digger and scratcher this month, so be aware.

SAGITTARIUS (The Archer) November 22 - December 21: This is the month that your Sagittarius will make a mountain out of a molehill. Everything will seem exaggerated. You need to spend extra time with your pet as they will feel a sense of abandonment when you are away. Life needs to be calm and tranquil for your pet so they can chill out.

CAPRICORN (The Goat) December 22 - January 19: This month finds your Capricorn trying to give you strength and encouragement especially if you are going through a difficult time. Your loyal companion will be consumed regarding your well being. Enjoy the attention your pet is giving you and reward their efforts.

AQUARIUS (The Water Bearer) January 20 - February 19: This month finds your Aquarian more entertaining than usual. This is the time that they really want to perform and put on a good show for you. Encourage them with applause and treats as they need your indulgence.

PISCES (The Fish) February 20 - March 20: With Mercury out of retrograde the Pisces should be more "normal" this month. They will be more realistic as they perceive events around them. They seek out responsibility, please oblige them as this helps keep their mind occupied. Remember - a content Pisces makes the world a better place for everyone else!
